Fire rating
The fire rating of standard parquet is D(fl) S1.

By special order, fire rating treatment is available for standard 14,5 mm Timberwise lacquered products of birch plywood structure glued to the underlay, providing fire rating C(fl) or the highest possible, B(fl).

The fire ratings are fulfilled using test methods based on the official European standard.

Certificates
Our products have also been granted the highest emission classification in Finland, the M1 classification.
The timber we use comes from PEFC certified forests.

Timberwise provides the parquet structure and surface treatment with a ten year warranty from the date of purchase.

The warranty applies to top-grade parquets and covers raw material and manufacturing defects. The warranty covers parquets installed for private use in normal residential room conditions when the Timberwise installation and care instructions provided with the package have been followed. Guarantee for design floors is valid only when the installation is done by a professional and according to the instruction given by the supplier.

The warranty does not cover parquet boards which have been deemed defective at the installation stage and which have been installed on the floor. They must be set aside, and they will be replaced by faultless boards free of charge.

The warranty does not cover scratches or dents that occur through use, or normal wear and tear. This is because the surface treatment does not make the surface of the wooden flooring or the wood material any harder than it is naturally. The warranty does not cover possible board swelling or shrinking due to a deviation from normal residential room conditions (18–24 °C, RH 40–60%) either. Since wood is a natural material, natural colour tone differences due to that fact are not covered by the warranty. Possible colour defective parquet boards must be set aside already at the installation stage.

The maximum liability under warranty is the value of the flooring material. The warranty does not cover possible indirect costs.  The flooring repair costs may only be compensated for if they have been agreed upon with the manufacturer in advance.  Timberwise reserves the right to repair, order to be repaired by an external party, or replace the defective flooring. In case of liability under warranty, the defective parquet shall be returned to the manufacturer in a manner agreed upon on a case by case basis.
