Our floor is the single-board wooden flooring Oak Classic 230 mm Antarctis, which is laid by the WiseLoc method. The flooring was installed in the summer of 2018.
Our apartment is in a 1920s building, and has been extensively renovated. The apartment has a total area of 119 m2 and is home to a family of four (no pets). We wanted a high-quality, durable and stylish Finnish-made floor. The floor of any home is of course a large area that is always visible, so we wanted it to be attractive.

Our detached house is home to two adults and two children. The flooring is locking tongue-and-groove Timberwise Oak Classic 185 mm Antarctis single-board wooden flooring. It was purchased in 2017.
We chose Oak Antarctis for its whiteness, liveliness and beautiful wood grain pattern. We wanted white flooring, and despite this choice of colour Oak Antarctis has the genuine feel of a real wood floor. The other all-white options we looked at all had a plastic feel about them, or were more reminiscent of laminate. The fact that the wooden flooring is also allergy-tested was also important to us.
We can happily recommend this product, as it is really beautiful and creates a bright effect. The grain of the wood shows through, so the floor doesn’t at all feel or look plastic.
