The story of Hotel Vihannonkulma
A beautiful building that used to be businessman Olli Vihanno’s private home and a car dealership, Vihanto Oy, had been lying empty for almost 20 years in the center of Loimaa. Now the building has come back to life. The CEO of Timberwise and Hotel Vihannonkulma, Markku Mäkitalo, became interested in the long-vacant building and eventually bought the entire property from Vihanno’s heirs. The building had two large residential apartments in completely original condition. Architect Hannu Vaisto designed nine beautiful and unique hotel rooms from two apartments, which Anna-Kaisa Melvas decorated into a wonderful whole. The rooms are divided into three themes: Nordic, Classic and Retro.
