Realistic Floor Textures for More Accurate Visualizations. Visualization is increasingly playing a decisive role in material selection. When clients make decisions during the concept phase, the tone, rhythm, and natural variation of a floor must be presented realistically — not as a generic wood texture, but as the authentic product itself.
Timberwise floor textures are now available for direct download from our media library and can be used in the most common design and visualization software. The majority of our products are now textured, and we will continue adding new texture images throughout the spring and autumn seasons. While we are not yet able to provide every shade, pattern, and grading variation, the most essential and popular options are already available.
More Realistic Renderings – Fewer Compromises
A wooden floor is one of the largest and most visually dominant surfaces in any interior. Its tone, grading, plank proportions, and surface treatment influence the entire spatial atmosphere.
With ready-made Timberwise textures, you can:
- Present true tones and surface variation already at the design stage
- Avoid generic and unrealistic wood materials
- Accelerate the visualization process
- Support the client’s material decision-making with more precise presentations
- Align the design intent with the final built result
When the actual flooring material is used already in the modeling phase, the outcome becomes more credible — and decision-making becomes easier.
Easy Download from the Media Library
The textures are available for download directly from the Timberwise Media Library and are freely usable in your design work when presenting Timberwise floors.
Downloading is simple:
- Access the Media Library via the direct link below or through the “For Professionals” section on our website
- Enter the password: Lankkuparketti
- Select your desired product
- Download the texture files
- Import the material into your design software
Go to the Media Library →

In the main texture folder, you will find all textured product images. Sub folders organize products into Plank Floors and Pattern Floors.
Please note:
The textures are optimized for 3D workflows (Adobe RGB color space). Adjust material brightness and contrast to match your final lighting conditions and always verify against an authentic Timberwise sample or reference image.
A Practical Addition to the Designer’s Toolkit
The texture files are intended for use in leading design software, including:
- Archicad
- SketchUp
- Revit
- Twinmotion
- Unreal Engine
- Enscape (Archicad)
- Other rendering and modeling software
The images are high-resolution and suitable for direct import into material libraries. They can be used for Interior 3D modeling, visualization imagery and sales renderings, competition proposals, client material presentations and concept development
More Accurate Material Representation from the Concept Stage
The character of a wooden floor is shaped by multiple factors: wood species, tone, grading, and surface treatment. Using the textures, you can evaluate:
- How the tone behaves under different lighting conditions
- The rhythm of planks or patterns in larger spaces
- The floor’s impact on the overall color palette
- The relationship between the flooring and fixed or loose furniture
When the floor is not merely described as “light oak,” but specified as a particular Timberwise collection — such as the popular Snöhetta, Skywhite, or Nordic — the design becomes more precise and client discussions more concrete.
A Seamless Path from Design to Realization
When the same material is consistently represented in plans, visualizations, brochures, and the completed project, the result is coherent and professional. These textures support that continuity and simplify material communication throughout every phase of the project — from concept to completion.
