Timberwise Tampere Showroom is once again taking part in the Most Beautiful Christmas Window in Tampere competition, organized by Design On Tampere ry and Tampere Tunnetuksi ry. The showroom is located at Aleksis Kiven katu 11 \u2013 just a short walk from Keskustori, making it easy to stop by and enjoy our Christmas window.<\/h4>\n\"\"\n

Handcrafted trees made from leftover parquet material<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Christmas window invites visitors to pause for a moment with themes of wood, circular economy and responsibility. At its heart are striking wooden trees made from leftover material generated in Timberwise\u2019s production.<\/p>\n

The vision of showroom manager Carita and the skilled craftsmanship of Jarno, a multitalented member of Timberwise\u2019s production team, came together to create a display that highlights the versatility of wood. The trees demonstrate how offcuts can be repurposed in a new and aesthetically durable way.<\/p>\n

A warm Christmas landscape built from recycled cardboard<\/strong><\/p>\n

The landscape surrounding the trees is created entirely from recycled cardboard. The gingerbread house\u2013like details and small cardboard figures bring a sense of lightness and playfulness to the display, beautifully complementing the calm character of wood.<\/p>\n

Showroom manager Carita describes the idea behind the display as follows:<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to bring fun and playfulness around the parquet \u2013 and to show that wood, often perceived as a monotonous material, can transform into something entirely new with imagination and craftsmanship.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

All elements in the window are made from existing materials. The result shows that responsibility, beauty and creativity can coexist naturally.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Inspiration passed from one generation to the next<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martha, a nine-year-old visitor who joined us on Bring Your Child to Work Day, also helped create the Christmas window. Her cheerful contribution brought lightness and a fresh perspective to the display, enhancing its warm and inviting atmosphere.<\/p>\n
