Timberwise celebrates its anniversary year – 20 years of emphasis on quality
As part of its anniversary celebrations, Timberwise is launching a new slogan: Floor For Life. With 20 years of experience, Timberwise offers its customers premium floors – in design, quality and safety. 2019 is Timberwise’s anniversary year – the company will be 20 years old in April. The anniversary year will bring interesting news, launches, new products and more.

Quality has always been one of Timberwise’s key assets. The focus on quality shows also in the company’s new slogan, launched in honour of the 20th anniversary year. Floor for life signals the long journey one can expect to share with a high-quality floor.
For Timberwise, quality also means safety and cleanliness. The company’s floors are free from formaldehyde and do not release any harmful chemicals into indoor air. Timberwise is the first parquet manufacturer in the world to have entirely given up the use of formaldehyde-containing adhesives in its products. It is also the only parquet manufacturer in Finland to have the Allergy Label of Finland’s Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation.
Highlights in the coming anniversary year
The 20th anniversary year will bring many interesting launches and initiatives in the design world and provide inspiration. Timberwise will again attend the Habitare fair with its own stunning stand, and the stand’s design and colour design will be provided by Susanna Vento and Joanna Laajisto.
Timberwise was founded in Loimaa, Finland, 20 years ago in 1999. The company was originally called Puujalkalan Puu (which alludes to wooden legs), but strong foreign demand soon forced it to rename itself Timberwise, ‘wise timber’. At first, the company exported more than 90% of its floors, and while exports still play a large role, domestic sales have also become significant. Today, 60% of the company’s turnover comes from exports. Timberwise floors can now be found on every continent.
