Daily maintenance of a Timberwise wooden floor
If you maintain your Timberwise wooden floor regularly, it will remain beautiful for longer.
Maintaining the floor does not require much – the most important thing is to regularly vacuum-clean the floor and wipe it with a damp mop. Sand and water pose the most significant threats, and they should be removed from the floor surface as soon as they appear. The above-mentioned threats can be prevented by using rugs that collect dirt and moisture in the entryway.
It is advisable to avoid strong detergents in floor maintenance, as they can damage the surface treatment of the floor. We recommend that Osmo Color’s own maintenance set be used for oiled surfaces. Maintenance sets for the most common tones are available from retailers, and the maintenance sets for special tones are available on order. All maintenance products suitable for lacquered surfaces can be used on lacquered surfaces.
The floor can be protected from scratch marks by placing adhesive felt pads on furniture legs and using rugs in heavily used spaces, such as hallways. Attention should also be paid to air humidity and indoor temperature. The optimal indoor air humidity is 40–60% (RH) and temperature +18–24°C.
